Visitor Centre and Gift Shop are open daily from 10.30am. Regular guided tours of the brewery are available. Adult Tour £4.75. Child Tour £2.50. Senior Citizen £4.00. Student with Valid ID Card £4.50. Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children) £12.00. Prices include complimentary drink. We regret for Health & Safety reasons, we cannot include children under 10 years on brewery tours.
T&R Theakston Ltd, traditional brewery, visitor centre and gift shop. Located in Masham in the Yorkshire Dales and home of the legendary Old Peculier. The best way to see the famous brewery is on a guided tour of the original Victorian brewhouse. Follow the entire brewing process from blending the ingredients to filling the casks. Catch a glimpse of their cooper, crafting the traditional wooden casks - a rare sight, as he is one of only two craft coopers working in England today. Round off your visit in the warm and friendly visitor centre bar for a complimentary sample or two of one of their legendary ales. The gift shop within the Visitor centre is stocked full of souvenirs and Yorkshire delights so you can take home a memory of your visit.
Disabled Access
Toilets for disabled visitors. Ramp/level access to attraction. Stair lift into visitor centre.
Parking for brewery visitors is available in Masham Market Place, just a two-minute walk away from the Visitor Centre. Follow the brown and white pedestrian signpost. From A1 follow Masham sign for 8 miles. Turn left at T-junction, 1 mile to Masham town centre.
